What methods of payment are accepted?
Cheque, money order, Visa, MasterCard and debit will be available at the two show homes, Cross Cancer Institute and Tom Baker Cancer Centre.

Can a ticket be refunded?
Yes. However, if any ticket purchased has been entered in any draw, no refund will be issued after the draw has taken place.
Who is prohibited from purchasing a ticket?
Anyone under the age of 18. Joint Lottery Management staff of Black Fund Development Inc. and Stride Management Corp. and their immediate family members are prohibited from purchasing tickets in the lottery.
How long does it take to receive the ticket in the mail?

If all Cash and Cars Lottery tickets are sold by the Early Bird cut-off date, the You Win 50 Lottery tickets will be halted and the draw will take place on September 27 with AGLC approval.

The names, cities and ticket numbers of the Top 10 winners may be published in major Alberta newspapers and social media and a complete list will be posted on the lottery website, cashandcarslottery.ca within 2 weeks of completing the final draw.
Are ticket purchasers eligible for all prizes?
Ticket purchasers are eligible for all 2,675 prizes provided they purchase before the loyalty draw deadline. After each draw the winning ticket will be returned to the drum and is eligible for all remaining prizes.

The personal information collected by Cash and Cars Lottery and You Win 50 Lottery will be used to process ticket orders, notify winners and send out lottery information and to contact you about future events and programs. You may opt out of our mailing/email lists at any time.
Is the ticket tax deductible/do you get a tax receipt?
No, there is no tax receipt issued and the ticket is not tax deductible as per CRA regulations.
Must the ticket purchaser and the name on the ticket be over the age of 18 years?
Yes, as per Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis regulations.
Can tickets be put in the name of a corporation or business?
Yes. Should the ticket be a winner the prize is then awarded to the corporation or business and the person who claims the prize must be able to prove they are an authorized officer of that company.
How many names can be put on a ticket?
If you want to put more than 2 names on a ticket it is recommended that you keep record of who is involved with the purchase. In the event of a winning ticket stub having more than one name the licensee will award the prize to the first name listed on the stub. The licensee is not responsible for resolving any disputes which may arise from the different individuals.
How are prizes awarded?
Once the draws have been completed, prize letters will be mailed out to all winners. The prize letter informs the winner of what they have won and where and when to pick up their prize. You must have the prize letter and picture identification to claim the prize. All prizes must be accepted as awarded, there will be no cash substitutions, unless otherwise stated.
Does Cash and Cars Lottery or You Win 50 contact prize winners to request payment of any kind to cover taxes, shipping, etc.?
NO, you are not required to pay for shipping or pay to claim a prize. If you do receive a call and are asked to pay, please do the following:
